Denise is a seasoned leader with twenty years of cross-sectoral experience in Europe, the USA, and Africa. She is an expert in business development strategy, and a specialist of operational and financial optimisation. Denise sits on the Boards of multilateral and private sector financial institutions in Africa and the USA as an Independent Administrator. She is actively involved in several non-for-profit initiatives to further diversity and inclusion and was featured in the top 50 Women in Management Africa (WIMA) 2023 list.

Denise started her career at Société Générale Corporate and Investment Bank before joining AXA Investment Managers where she held various positions during her 10-year tenure, including Chief Operating Officer for Rosenberg Equities, the quantitative equity investment platform. She then moved to the cement industry where she led PPC Barnet DRC’s transformation, and strategic projects before co-founding Africa Ahead. 

Denise holds a MSc in African Development from the London School of Economics and Political Science in London, a MBA from the European School of Economics in London, and a Law Degree from the University Pantheon Assas in Paris.
